Jeah Aurora Kim, MScBMC, BEng
As a biomedical communicator, I bring together scientific precision, creative visualization, and technology to deliver science more accessible, meaningful, and inspiring.
How I arrived here✈️ I’ve always loved the challenge of transforming knowledge into something uniquely mine, whether through simple diagrams or analogies that connect seemingly unrelated ideas. That passion led me to the Master of Science in Biomedical Communications program at the University of Toronto , where I’ve been able to refine my visual communication skills at a professional level.
Where I am heading🚀
1. Working Alongside Professionals to Enhance Communication
I closely collaborated with surgeons to create data-driven 3D liver models for surgical decision-making, and with anatomy professors to develop interactive visuals that enhance undergraduate anatomy education.

2. Pushing the Boundaries of Storytelling through AR/VR
At MD Anderson Cancer Center, I am currently developing a standardized assessment tool in a VR space to support cancer survivor rehabilitation.

3. Bridging Roles Across Project Management, Design, and Development
For my graduate project, I developed an interactive training app for physiotherapists, where I experienced the full process from studying user needs to designing and delivering a functional application.
